WebThe enhanced performance of superconducting FeSe0.5Te0.5 materials with added micro-sized Pb and Sn particles is presented. A series of Pb- and Sn-added FeSe0.5Te0.5 (FeSe0.5Te0.5 + xPb + ySn; x = y = 0–0.1) bulks are fabricated by the solid-state reaction method and characterized through various measurements. Isoelectronic substitution is an ideal tuning parameter to alter electronic states and correlations in iron-based superconductors. As this substitution takes place outside the conducting Fe planes, the electronic behaviour is less affected by the impurity ...

WebApr 2, 2024 · In this work, we have synthesized FeS 1−x Se x solid solution crystals with the whole x range (0 ≤ x ≤ 1), where the S-rich part (0.1 ≤ x < 0.5) is reported for the first time so far. A hydrothermal route was carried out by de-intercalating K from the K 0.8 Fe 1.6 (S 1−x Se x) 2 precursor and FeS 1−x Se x crystal sheets were thus obtained. WebSingle crystals of sulfur-substituted iron selenide, FeSe 1−x S x, were grown within eutectics of molten halides, AlCl 3 /KCl, AlCl 3 /KCl/NaCl or AlCl 3 /KBr, under permanent temperature gradient.
